The maximum allowable fees that an Illinois notary public can charge for notarial acts are listed below:

Note: There may be a travel fee depending on the location.

  • Acknowledgments - $1.00 each

  • Oaths or affirmations - $1.00 each

  • Witness or attest a signature - $1.00 each

  • Verification upon oath or affirmation - $1.00 each.
